WANTED: make/part number of a lower priced pair of ROOF BARS for a Vauxhall Zafira Life 07 reg-(solid rails)?
Vauxhall’s price is £96.00 – excessive ! Must be other makes doing similar at lower prices – has any car accessory salesman knowledge of what’s available, please. The roof rails on this model are solid (no gap ) with a bulge at the top, and have three pairs of holes on the inner sides, needing a form of downward clamping and some bolts for the holes. These special fixings are for the latest 06/07 models only. Have a Thule roof-box to re-use for fitting on new bars when obtained.. Your help appreciated.
Don’t think you will find another make as there would not be enough sales volume to make it economic. Take a deep breath and buy the Vauxhall ones, you know they will fit. Plus be glad they are not Volvo ones like mine which are much more expensive.
